Placing the needs of others before we, the people,
consume ourselves with selfishness.
B4I Mission:
To complete the wheel of humanity by serving, and meeting the basic needs of those less privileged around the world.
Vision:
Bikes 4 Indonesia wants to assist other organizations, with relief efforts, as well as repairing the simple machines, bicycles,
that we would have put at the curb 5 years ago.
Bikes 4 Indonesia also wants to provide communities/villages with proper tools, equipment, and education to maintain their
rebuilt machines.
Guiding Principles:
- Consideration to the locations culture, economic status, and context to reduce impact and economic imbalance.
- Practical ways of implementing resources to encourage self-sufficiency of natives.
- Partner with other organizations to meet basic needs such as, clean water projects.
- Fix and repair bicycles.
- Provide bicycle maintenance education.
- Capture sights, and sounds of human condition, to educate others with.
